Integrated pipetting workstation for seamless automated high-throughput workflows: microbial heat-shock transformation, microbial spot-plating, serial dilution, normalization and inoculation, sample hit picking and re-arraying, PCR, and sequencing library preparation.
The Beckman Biomek i7 liquid handling platform automates complex high-throughput workflows. Features up to 45 available deck positions, a 96-channel pipetting arm and an 8-channel arm with independent Y- and Z-axes, and a pipetting volume range of 0.5 µL to 1,000 µL. Features include a high-access rotating gripper and DeckOptix cameras for live monitoring.
Integrated on deck are 5 hot/cold ColdPlate positions with adapters for 96- or 384-well PCR plates and an on-deck thermal cycler (ODTC) for 96-well plates.
